They played their first gigs in Sydney around a year ago and have since toured Australia’s east coast and done a five city tour of Sumatra and Java, receiving hugely positive responses from audiences and the press alike. The Translators have now released their unique brand of flamenco-jazz-fusion on their debut album ‘The Translators’ available through Jazzgroove Records.

Like many not-for-profit organisations, Jazzgroove doesn't run purely on goodwill. Jazzgroove gratefully receives a small portion (30% or less) of it's funding from government bodies such as The Australia Council and Arts NSW. Membership fees received throughout the year go back directly into running the organisation.
