| New Year, New Gigs
The 2012 Summer Festival was a blast, with gigs for kids, hipsters, outdoors and indoors, workshops, and we gave away an amazing recording prize to the amazing Alcohotlicks.
Now we're settling in for the regular years programming, over the next few months you can catch Bernie McGann, Daryl Pratt, Brendan Clarke with Craig Scott, Mike Rivett and Mike Nock. Dive in!

Tuesday June 3rd
8:30pm - JIM KELLY plus MATT SMITH - GUITAR DUO
Renowned guitarist Jim Kelly has embraced acoustic instruments over the last 6 years and along with Matt Smith (electric guitar) will be performing a repertoire of Jim's compositions peppered with the flavours of Brazil, Spain and Jim's own quirkiness. Lotsa space is left for improvising and the duo's motto is ONWARDS & SIDEWAYS.

together by Jon Rose when he returned to Australia in 2003.

“Showa 44 delivered a sonic tour de force ... Combining ambient sounds with ear-splitting electronics, the duo carved out an adventuresome route through the world of sound. Barker set up repetitive motifs via the use of gongs, as if he were gently throwing pebbles into a lake, while Dewhurst attacked his guitar like a latter-day Derek Bailey. Judy composes, arranges and conducts for the band. Most of the band are students from Sydney's Conservatorium Of Music and Jazz Studies.
