| New Year, New Gigs
The 2012 Summer Festival was a blast, with gigs for kids, hipsters, outdoors and indoors, workshops, and we gave away an amazing recording prize to the amazing Alcohotlicks.
Now we're settling in for the regular years programming, over the next few months you can catch Bernie McGann, Daryl Pratt, Brendan Clarke with Craig Scott, Mike Rivett and Mike Nock. Dive in!

Tina Harrod has busy lately, travelling the world writing material for a new album. She will present some of this new work at Jazzgroove on Tues Jan 17th. Joining her will be her usual great Trio, Matt McMahon piano, Jonathan Zwartz bass, Evan Mannell drums and special guest, James Muller on guitar.

Australia's only world pop jazz instrumental social club band. Though formed in 2009, My Goodness, McGuiness! are connected to a older tradition of the artist as ethnographer. The Brazilians expressed it as Anthropofagia; digesting your past to create your history.

One of the most accomplished modern jazz soloists to emerge from the Australian scene, McGann’s stellar career began in the late 1950s and his performance history and achievements, from first-class
recordings to awards and memorable performances are too many to list. Still active as a performer, composer and recording artist, he has led his acclaimed trio and quartet for decades. The best way to experience McGann’s extraordinary and highly original playing is to be there at a gig. This gig!

The Dilworths return to the Jazzgroove stage almost 3 years since their first gig. 2011 saw the band return to Melbourne and record for ABC's Jazztrack with an albums worth of new tunes inspired by
Eamon's 8 months living in Romania and Italy. Featuring super tenor man Dave Theak as a special guest!
